Service Delivery Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026 · This page takes the place of a shipping policy: ShotLeftCab sells no physical goods and ships nothing.

1. What we provide

ShotLeftCab is an e-hailing (ride-hailing) platform. Through our passenger app at app.shotleftcab.co.za you book a ride, and an independent, licensed driver using our driver app collects you and takes you to your destination. We also sell an optional rider membership, ShotLeftCab Plus, which is delivered as benefits inside the app.

2. How a ride is delivered

• You enter your pickup and destination and see the price before you book.
• We match you with the nearest available driver. You see the driver's name, photo, vehicle and registration, and you can follow the car on the map as it approaches.
• The ride starts when you confirm your pickup PIN with the driver and ends at your destination.
• You can also book ahead for a set time; the ride is dispatched shortly before that time.
• After the ride you receive an electronic receipt in the app showing the driver, vehicle, route and amount paid.

3. Where and when

Rides are available in the areas shown in the app, starting with the Western Cape, whenever drivers are online. If no driver is available, you are told in the app and nothing is charged.

4. Memberships and driver services

• ShotLeftCab Plus starts as soon as payment succeeds and its benefits apply to your next ride.
• Driver top-ups are credited to the driver's balance as soon as PayFast confirms the payment, usually within seconds.
• Driver PRO applies from the moment it is activated, for the week or month paid for.

5. If something goes wrong

If a ride is not delivered as described, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy or contact support in the app or at admin@shotleftcab.co.za.
