When surge is on, the rider pays the true surge price — capped at 1.5× for everyone, always. On FREE we keep 0.1 of that surge multiplier out of your side: the rider pays 1.4×, you’re paid on 1.3×. It only applies while surge is above 1.0×, and it can never drop you below the normal 1.0× fare. It doesn’t cost the rider a cent extra — it comes out of our share of the trip, not theirs.
On PRO the spread doesn’t apply at all. The rider pays 1.4×, you’re paid on 1.4× — plus 0% commission on top. If you work the busy hours, that’s the single biggest reason to go PRO: a flat R200/week or R750/month, and every rand of surge stays yours.
At normal (1.0×) pricing, a 25% app leaves you R75. On ShotLeftCab FREE you keep R95 — and on PRO you keep the whole R100. On a surged trip, FREE also gives up the 0.1 surge spread; PRO doesn’t.
Do R5,000 in fares at normal pricing: a 25% app leaves you about R3,750. On ShotLeftCab FREE you keep R4,750 (less the surge spread on any surged trips in there) — and on PRO you keep every rand of it, surge included, for a flat R200/week or R750/month. That's over R1,000 more in your pocket, every week.
Riders can tip in the app — mid-trip or after. Every cent goes straight to you. We never take a slice of your tips.
Fair by default: your first month on PRO is money-back — if it's quiet and PRO cost you more than FREE would have (its 5% commission plus the surge spread), we refund the difference to your wallet. Try PRO risk-free.
Nobody else does this
On other apps, if you're not online you get nothing. On ShotLeftCab you set your area and we alert you to pre-booked rides near you — even while you're parked, resting or between shifts. Accept the good ones in advance and plan your day around real, confirmed trips.

Every rider carries a Bronze/Silver/Gold trust tier from real two-way ratings. You see it before you accept — no blind pickups.
A quick face-check at pickup confirms the rider, and confirms you to them — no swapped accounts, no confusion.
Card and PayShap are handled for you; cash is only offered to ID-verified riders, rounded to the nearest R5 so there's no change to count.
The women-driver option is restricted to verified women riders — so women drivers who opt in are matched safely.
Surge never goes above 1.5× — for every rider, no exceptions — and a late-night minimum-fare guarantee means short trips after 22:00 still pay properly. On FREE we keep 0.1 of the surge multiplier; on PRO you keep all of it.

Snap your documents and vehicle photos right in the app. You'll need a valid PrDP, SA driver's licence, SAPS police clearance, e-hailing insurance and a roadworthy vehicle (2005 or newer).
Most drivers are verified within 24 hours. Go online, set your area, and start earning — 95% of a normal fare on FREE, or 100% of the fare and all your surge on PRO.
